Safety main management indicators 

I. Total Recordable Injury Frequency Rate 

Measures the number of recordable injuries originated as a cause or result of work activity from direct employees, contractors, subcontractors, and trainees. The indicator includes (I) Occupational fatalities, (II) medical inability events, (III) work restriction events, or (IV) medical treatment events per every million men hours worked. 


 

Fig. 6, illustrates improvement on the results as the Total Recordable Injury Frequency Rate is below the established target.

Graphic 6 shows performance improvement. The results have been under the limit defined. As follows, detailed information about Total Recordable Injury Frequency Rate (Direct and indirect employees)

Process Safety incident frequency rate – Tier 1  


Measures the number of incidents unplanned or that have uncontrolled loss of any material (including non-toxic or non-flammable substances such as steam, hot condensate, nitrogen, compressed CO2, or compressed air) which consequences are defined in the current API 754 to classify the events as “Tier 1”, per million hours worked in the Ecopetrol Group facilities.
