In 2020 as an organization, we collectively built our Declaration of Culture with six principles as a foundation to reach our strategy and to become a net zero company by 2050. These principles reflect our company behavior: Life First, Collaboration, Ethics, Innovation, Excellence and Leadership.

Having the set of principles helps us to act and to make choices in a consistent way throughout the companies that are part of the Ecopetrol Group.  

In the Ecopetrol Group we measure the level of adoption with the Cultural Transformation Index “Look in the Mirror” which helps us to find the way people behave and the attitudes and beliefs that inform those behaviors in leadership, engagement, and employee experience. The Cultural Transformation Index is done every two years to make sure the team has the bandwidth to act on the survey results in a timely fashion. Besides it was created an integrated strategy to continuously listen to the employees with pulses surveys and focus groups about specific growth opportunities.
