Free of charge assignments

Ecopetrol, within the framework of its corporate social responsibility practices, seeks to contribute to improve the quality of life of the stakeholders through the allocation of free of charge assignments, giving priority to requests from entities located in its areas of operation and influence.
Due to the Electoral Guarantees Law, which began on June 29 and ended on October 29, 2023, the process of free charge assignments was suspended during that period, in conformity with Colombian regulations. Thus, as of 31 December 2023, Ecopetrol assigned free of cost in the Orinoquia regional, the piping needed by the Mayor's office of Castilla La Nueva (Meta), in the Piedemonte regional, three properties to the municipality of Tauramena (Casanare), and piping needed by the Mayor's office of Aguazul (Casanare), and in the Central regional, laboratory equipment and one property.
The cost of the pipeline and the assigned land add up to $319.5 million pesos, with a total of 8 allocations for the execution of productive projects framed in the "Aguazul Attractive for All" Development Plan, basic bovine management units; the construction of a crossing over a water way in the Arenales rural district in Castilla La Nueva, aimed at improving territorial connectivity and the quality of life of the people in the area. Furthermore, investment and expansion of the infrastructure of the Wastewater Treatment Plant - WWTP to provide better service to the inhabitants of Payandé, El Delirio and the strip of the CPF Cusiana, El Estero property strip in Tauramena (Casanare), for the construction of the primary health care center, plus a strip of land in the Santa Rosa Palma Sola Alta Mira Sol property for the construction of a pump house and installing the water adduction line section.
